Front Pockets Changed, Now Useless.

Bought two pairs of these shorts in 2023, with excellent "deep" front pockets. Ordered a pair last week, and I swear these front pockets are about half the size, and for me, useless. Returning this pair, which is a shame, as these were once awesome shorts.

Solid shorts with some flex and handy pockets. My only gripe is they are rather long for 'shorts'... I'd much prefer if they were about 2-4 inches shorter to stay above the knees. (I'm a 32 x 30 pant size)

Favorite For Hikes And Trail Runs.

My favorite for trail runs and hikes. The length to mid knee is perfect. I sized one up because I like shorts with some room, but even so they have what I'd call a "normal" fit. I do like the sized up fit though, very comfortable. The fabric has a nice texture, feels durable. The thigh pocket just barely fits my phone. The zippered back pockets were a good idea.

Sizing Is Way Off

These shorts are def not true to size compared to other MH items. I wear a 38 in the basin trek and AP pants and cannot even get these on in a 38. They feel like a 34. There is a major sizing issue with these shorts. No doubt about it.

Good Looking, Rugged Short

Love these shorts, and glad they offer them in a longer inseam. The cut is on the more athletic side which I love, but measurements are still true to size. The build is very rugged so I can do all the things and not have to worry about wearing them out. Only downside I've found is a pocket on the front right leg that seems to be a little awkward placement. Anything I put in seems to stick out and be difficult to remove. Not sure what the intention was here, but I just don't use it. Plenty of other pockets which work great so no issue for me.

Wrong Length

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the AP shorts but they are getting difficult to find. I’m not in love with the Sandstorm color; it is much darker than shown in the pictures. I ordered the 11 inch inseam but received the shorter 9 inch. Probably will keep just because AP shorts in my size are almost impossible to find.

Excellent Except 1 Thing

Great shorts! My one issue is that due to some weight loss, I am wearing a belt with them, and the problem is the main closure button. It is really thick, so when a belt is worn, it pouches that button right into your gut. Very uncomfortable.
