still the best puffy on the mart however im sticking with my old mountain hardware puffer from 2019. new one doesn't have zipper pocket on chest and cant hold two two litre bottles on the inside. i lived in my north face green denali from 1994-2010 and this replaced it, just had mine repaired. would be nice to have a place to put a carabiner thru it or a coat hanger on the inside or outside to properly hang it up. ill just modify mine. this montbell and canada goose or maybe feathered friends is an industry must, treat it with care and use super glue on small holes where the down escapes, will last ten years ish, maybe 20. I bought two of the old ones on ebay, really liked montbell but the left hand zipper was a no go and the arm pits were cut too small, mountain hardware fits best for american climbers etc. imo

I've been wearing my Ghost Whisperer Hoody since 2018. It has accompanied me on many bikepacking adventures and photography outings. When I first bought this I was skeptic of the small plastic/nylon zipper. This morning, right after I got to my photo destination, the pin broke off when I went to zip it up...timing. Even though zipper durability has always been a question in my mind, it's been a great jacket. It's warmth to weight ratio make it great for cold weather activities where you are on the move and it can add a little warmth to a summer weight bag.

Very good travel jacket. I use it backcountry camping to keep me warm during stops and at night. It’s also great when I’m traveling. Stows away easily which makes it easily accessible in my bag.

I bought this recently and was pleased with the product. That was until I tried to wear the jacket. It is very tight around the arms and armpits, and even worse when I try to layer it with my microchill jacket. Funnily enough, the microchill fleece's fit is supposed to be more snug, which is not true, it is quite the opposite actually. For reference, I am 5'10 and 205lbs and I ordered the jacket in a size large since my fleece is also a large. Overall, I had high hopes, but now I am just truly disappointed.

great jacket for fall or a layer in winter. Super packable and light weight which is great. I'm disappointed on the 2-tone blue.. I bought it in store and the lighting didn't really show the 2-tone, and I'm not a fan. Just one blue would be much better IMO.

This jacket is incredibly tight in the armpits, and the sleeve opening doesn't seem to scale with larger sizes. I'm 6'1 & 210lbs, i go to the gym but im not bulky - i normally look for a relaxed fit for tops so i generally wear an XL. I ordered this jacket in XL and was shocked by the tightness in the armpits, a result of under-sized sleeve openings at the torso. I exchanged for XXL and the problem was the exact same, except the rest of the garment was now oversized. the materials are premium but obviously not suitably designed/tested for varrying body shapes, especially odd because this is a mid-layer and should accommodate other layers underneath. MHW please please please add ACTUAL PRODUCT MEASUREMENTS to the details of your listing, the current sizing guidelines might be adequate for some but i want to know the ACTUAL chest measurement, sleeve openings, upper arm sleeve circumference, etc. when shopping because i followed the sizing on the site and it failed... twice.

Bought this to fit in my running pack for the R2R2R in the Grand Canyon. My other down were not as packable. The hoodie keeps me warm on the move with out all the bulk that comes with down jackets designed for real cold environments. I can see using this jacket in the backcountry while skiing in the future.

Best piece I have bought all year. Kept me nice and toasty and protected from 20mph winds while camping on Catalina over the weekend. Great fill and feel.
The bee’s knees! I highly recommend. The quality is perfecto

Same issue with another MH jacket- the armpits are just way too high up. I don't have huge shoulder muscles or anything but these jacket just don't seem to work for anyone with any semblance of shoulders. Strange enough, the arms are actually pretty large, too. Would have loved to keep this, seems like it's pretty good quality, but fit issues all around.

I bought this coat 5 years ago. I live in Ireland so paired with a packaway rain jacket it's good for all 4 seasons over here. The zip broke the other day and I realised it was time to lay her to rest. I probably wore that coat 300 days a year for the past 5 years. I felt compelled to come here and say this really was the best coat I've ever owned. It ticked all the boxes.

I bought this product 2 months ago. It is not as durable or warm as previous versions. Used to love this jacket for a variety of conditions. My latest purchase has given me doubts about ordering again.

I purchased a GW Hoody in 2018 and have used it both as a daily and on all my outdoor adventures. It's my mid layer of choice for alpine climbing, skiing, even some ice climbing, and as a mid layer when I ride my motorcycle on cold days. The GW is bomb proof against the wind and keeps me from needing to bust out my hard shell while on the mountain, and it's the perfect amount of insulation for Rocky Mountain and Cascade Range alpine ascents. I've used the jacket very heavily in almost every type of condition. I've used the heck out of it, and consequently, it has needed a few repairs through the years. Two zipper garage repairs in the pockets, and most recently, the right cuff material was worn through such that the down was almost gone. Each time I sent in the jacket, and each time Mountain Hardwear's team of sewests has done an incredible job repairing it. The right cuff of my jacket is so well repaired I almost couldn't tell which one it was that needed the repair to begin with. Super impressive. That these repairs are free (minus one way shipping) is even more incredible. Worth the money; amazing repair services; love this jacket. I hope to keep it as long as there is a way to keep it in top shape. No downsides.

Incredibly light weight , stylish functional hand warmer pockets. Just wishing it had a chest pocket.
