Great down layer. Keeps me warm on 20-30 degree days. Per another online review of down jackets, I conquer that the jacket is very durable. Stylish.

This is the best jacket I’ve ever owed , switching from Patagonia to mountain tools from now on

Bought this to go disc golfing. Haven't been able to get out with it yet for that, but have been wearing it regularly. It's very warm for how light it is. It has great mobility, so I'm thrilled for that. My only complaint is the zipper. Not sure what function having a double zipper serves. I've already had the bottom one rise up on me. I'm 6'1" 170lbs. I bought a M based off reviews. It fits well, but the arms could be a tad longer. I do have long arms, though.

After I washed it, (and I did follow the laundering instructions), most of the fill shifted from the shoulders down the sleeves and body. Not sure if anyone else has had this issue, but I'm disappointed in the design as I figured this wouldn't have happened.

Love the look of this coat, unfortunately after I washed it, (and I did follow the laundering instructions), most of the fill shifted from the shoulders down the sleeves and body. Good jacket for fall/warm winter days. Could be a bit warmer. Can go to -25C with a hoodie jacket underneath, best for hikes and outdoor activities.

This is a very lightweight jacket. Temps around 0C to 10C (30-50 F) is the sweet spot. It's well made. The other thing to know is sizing. Unlike what they say in the description, it does not run true to size. It feels super snug. Order one size up. I am 5'8" (172cm) and I ordered the small size because the model in the pic was wearing medium and it says he is 185cm. Boy was I wrong. It is like wearing a kids jacket.

Great jacket, packs down nicely and keeps you warm with the 700 down fill. I read a comment about being a bit hefty to take into the backcountry but I didn’t bear tooth for several days and didn’t think it was to bulky, however I see how one could see it’s not being ultra pack down/

I purchased this for sheep hunting. When I got it in the mail it felt way heavier and bulkier than advertised. It's about double the advertised weight. They claim 9.3oz but it is closer to 18oz. That's a pretty significant difference and "approximately" doesn't seem to be used in good faith on this one. I overall think very highly of Mountain Hardware products. I have used and trusted many of their products for military deployments, mountaineering, sheep hunting, climbing Denali etc. If they put the correct specs in the description I wouldn't have purchased it. It appears to be made well but would be better suited for beers at the bon fire after the adventure than during it. I still gave it three stars because it is well made and sturdy. I just wouldn't use it for anything that requires me carrying it in a backpack for more than a day.

Simply the best jacket. Super light weight, I never have to worry about sacrificing weight for comfort. I just throw it in my bag now and don't even think about it. It washes quite well too, as I run it through the ringer at work and camping. The down has not had a problem after about 45 washes with wool balls on regular temps. It's not water proof, but for light rains I have not had to throw on a rain jacket and have not felt that it was damp after.

Loved everything about the jacket but armpits rode high. I tried to convince myself to overlook but that uncomfortable feeling was gnawing away. Layering with a midsize performance sweater was the final straw. This jacket is made for skinny dudes. I’m 5’6, semi athletic, bought a medium. Tired of these company not finding the sweet spot. The jacket is not label as slim fit but that armpit says otherwise. Snug is fine but not allowing layering and breathing space for the armpit is not right.

Love this jacket. Super warm, comfortable, and looks really good. I’m 6’ 165lbs and the medium fits me perfect.

I’m 6’6, so my jackets always show my belly when I use/lift my arms. The cut of this jacket is perfect and solves the issue. The armpit seam is very high up the jacket. You can move your arms and the jacket stays in place. Almost feels tailored.

Nice jacket, I have only worn it a couple times but so far I like it and it will be added to the rotation. The Material feels more cloth like than your traditional down puffy jacket and it was plenty warm the other morning when i used while blowing snow off the driveway. I have a little bit of a love hate relationship with the zipper however. I really like how easy it is to zipp all the way up especially when getting up to the last few inches in the face area, I also like the two way and that i can open it up at the bottom. I do however struggle a bit every time I’m trying to start the zipper. I like that all the pockets are insulated to the outside even the chest pocket, doesn’t seem like much but if you put a phone in the breast pocket it won’t be as subjected to the elements and will maintain battery life longer. Packability is ok perhaps if i was going backpacking i would pick something that would pack down a bit more but for regular car camping or around town and walking the dogs great jacket. when i first put the jacket on i notice that i would like to have a little bit more room in the armpit area, but once i head out for activities i forget all about that and it hasn’t bothered me. I’m 5’9” 185lbs 32” inseam with 42” chest. I got a large and i feel it fits true to size.
