My New Favorite Hiking Pants

I bought these pants a month ago and absolutely love them. They are my new favorite hiking pants. They are soft and flexible, lots of pockets, waist drawstring. I typically am between a small and a medium. I bought small and they fit great. I’m 5’7 and 147 lbs.

Way Too Big

Great quality but way too big. The XXS fits like a small or medium. If you weigh less than 130 pounds these probably wont work for you. Sure wish brands would make more inclusive sizing for those with petite builds.

Lined Pants

I preferred the lining of the original lined pants which was more of a brushed soft cotton texture.

Good Quality, Inconsistent Fit

For context I am 5’3” 130 lbs with a small waist but a large bum. I’m a typical size SMALL in most all brands for both tops and bottoms. I originally purchased the size small and was dismayed at how large they were on me! But the length was perfect. I think ever since Mountain Hardwear was purchased by Columbia?, the sizing has become inconsistent. Luckily it seems that the quality of material is still there. I then purchased the XS. The fit seemed like it would be tight, but once I pulled it over my bum, fits comfortable and snug - however - the length is noticeably shorter - almost like “petite” sizing, which is disappointing. I will keep this pair though, as I mentioned, they are still good quality pants for winter!

Midwest Winter Walks

These pants have been a lifesaver this winter walking my dog in Midwest weather. They keep the wind out and my legs warmer than sweats or jeans. Highly recommend.

Be Aware Of Some Major Issues

I love these pants, but I have a couple of concerns to mention. First, the waist has become significantly larger after wearing them, and I wish they had drawstrings or some way to tighten it. While I have hips to keep them up, they might slip down for other women with slimmer figures. Additionally, they tend to pill a lot, especially in areas where the seatbelt rubs or around the backside where they come into contact with my backpack. A fabric shaving is helpful but I have not figured out how to tighten the waist yet

Great Cool Weather Pants.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are my favorite cool weather pants. The lightweight lining is perfect! Pants stretch somewhat and are very comfortable. I like them so much I have three pair.

Very Comfortable

Very happy with these lined pants. They have a drawstring to keep them in place. I'm a bit curvy, they are snug over my hips, but fit my waist great (XL 220lbs). So soft and comfortable, no scratchy seams and tag free, no rubbing, great for longer cold hikes (used for 30°). The velcro side pockets are not great, (but I will probably remove the velcro at some point)... you have to use two hands to open, with a over flap there is really no reason for the velcro. Side lower pocket fits my phone perfect. I wish the material was a bit tougher, snagged them on some prickers first hike I went on.

Very Soft And Comfortable.

I've used these pants on a variety of hikes recently. I found that they are VERY comfortable. A bit fitted at the waist, so getting the over hips is a little slow (XL 220lbs). But once over my hips, the draw string is very nice to keep them in place. For hikes around 30° F they were perfect. No need for extra long johns. The side pockets are deep, I don't love the velcro (I will probably take it off someday) overall keeps things in reach, zipper pocket fits my phone. Draw string on the leg opening will be handy for muddy walks in the cold wet Michigan spring. Wish they were a bit more durable material, snagged on a few prickers first trip out. But overall would recommend.

Too Short - Not 32" Inseam As Stated In Description

Great pants but the inseam is NOT 32", therefore they are too short and will be returned. Disappointing that the description states they are 32", and customers are stuck paying to return ship the pants back.

Not Up To Par With Older Style

I have 2 other (older styles, apparently) pairs of these pants and they're my go-to pant in cool to cold weather. These, however, are different. The outer fabric is stiffer and the pockets have not only been moved to the side instead of the front, but they're too small to be of any use.

Comfy Soft Lining, Tiny Pockets

I bought these pants for hiking and walking in cooler weather, and I really like how the mesh lining feels agains my skin, very comfy, feels like it will help keep me warm. I am 5’3”, and the length of these pants (in regular length) is perfect for me. I wish these pants had bigger pockets, and the top pockets were placed in a better way (they are high on the hip, have narrow openings and Velcro closures, pretty awkward to access).

Very Comfortable

Perfect for springtime, just enough warmth without being too heavy

Warm And Stylish

I am thrilled with this pair of pants. The product is very warm, comfortable, and stylish. It delivered more than I expected. I ordered another one for my daughter.

Nice Pants, Unfortunate Front Pockets

Bought these in December and they are comfy and warm, but the small front pockets with a velcro close tab are unusable; thus only 3 stars. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" as they say. Front slash pockets (with enough depth) are very usable. I would recommend potential buyers wait until you remedy the pocket design before purchasing.
