My previous stretch down hoodie had a very durable stretchy fabric and much more down filling. It was "true to size". I wore it hard for quite a few years years. This version is very disappointing, I agree with other 2 star reviewers. The fabric is thin, the coat is large and boxy, and there is not much down insulation. I plan to return it asap, but mountain hardware will not allow me to use another carrier during the Can Post strike.

Amazing Puff Hoody That I Won’t Be Able To Replace Because They Don’t Carry My Size Anymore
I LOVE this down hoody! I had another reputable brand puffy and it fit so weird compared to this one. The length of the torso and the arms was perfect! I have very long arms and it fit great! The only reason it isn’t getting 5 stars is because mountain hardware is not making plus sizes anymore. There are so many people who live in larger bodies who love the outdoors and need access to clothes that are comfortable and that are intended for the sport/outdoors. You are limiting a huge population of people by not having extended sizes anymore! Bring back plus sizes!!!!

No Down In Shoulder Area
I love everything about this jacket! It has a great fit, looks good outdoors and in the city, is lightweight, and has sturdy zippers. However, the down has traveled over time so now there's no down left around the shoulders, and I mean none. I've shaken it, hung it upside down, all to no avail. Unfortunately, the jacket is now useless which is a shame, as I really loved it!

Fits Over Large Sweatshirts And Comfy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this lightweight warm jacket. Stretch makes it so comfortable. Fits over hooded sweatshirts because of the stretch. True to size. Zipper might become a problem... seems a little hard to start...but time will tell.

Different Design
I really wanted to love this jacket. I purchased the first gen of the stretch down jacket and LOVE it. Its still in excellent condition, lots of fill remaining. However, my body has changed and I have to upgrade. I just ordered the new version of this jacket and its clear that it is no longer the same quality. The fill and construction are different in ways that I don't think serves the function of this jacket. I may end up trying it out for a season anyway, because I much prefer the look of the stretchdown fabric over any other fabric on the market.
