I have briefly worn this in the rain, but it was lightweight, comfortable and roomy enough to layer over my nano-puff jacket and another thermal layer under that without being too tight. Without the layers, it's comfortable. The hood provides good coverage without covering my eyes or mouth too much, but just enough. I like the color (turquoise), although my husband and I are now sort of matching..... I'm happy with it.
