Best Of The Better Than
My very favorite MH meal of them all. Keep in mind dear reader that not everyone is going to rate this as excellent but, bear with me, not all tastes (or pallets) are the same. To catapult this particular dish into a low earth orbit you need your spice essentials (salt, a dash of pepper, maybe some chili flakes...) and a bit more time to cook than the directions state.

Awesome Food
I've bought Mountainhouse for 27 years. All of them are delicious. The one I miss the most is the seafood chowder that was discontinued. I also miss the family packs 20 & 40 ounce packages.

We take this on AK moose hunts. Tastes great. Always wondered why I lost so much weight then saw how few calories it has. It’s not “emergency food” if you starve to death while eating it. Labeling needs work. It should be easy to determine allergens. This is not obvious.

Flavorful And A Great Comfort In Cold Weather.
I am not a fan of peas but at the end of a day of backpacking in the high Sierra Nevadas, this really hit the spot. Having a hot and flavorful meal can't be beat. I was suprised at how tasty it was.

I’d Like To Taste It But Hope I Never Do!
We bought these just for peace of mind in case something happens. They’ve all gone into our 72 hour kits. I know they’re delicious from tasting them before and I know we’ll enjoy them if we need to. Something good and comforting will go along way in an emergency. The shelf life will probably outlive us though. Too bad!
