Breaks Easily And Often

First cast--the two-piece rod came apart and would not seat tightly again afterwards. I figured it was just a fluke production-line-dud. So I returned it to Dick's and exchanged it for another one. First time out with the new one, the rod actually snapped while trying to un-snag my rig. Once again I returned the broken rod to Dick's. This time, I paid a little extra and replaced it with an Ugly Stik GX2. This is my third Ugly Stik. I still use all three and none of them have ever let me down.

Durability And Quality!

I bought this combo recently for Carp fish be because I needed a setup that could withstand hard hookup slams from carp plus a well built reel with strong gears for bringing them in.
