Great Poles

Great Poles, I have used these for Hiking, XC Skiing, PT Balance exercises & Snowshoeing. they collapse down enough for travel. Strong and works great! I even bought a pair for my dad to use!

Poles Slide Out And Catch Knees

The poles are sturdy when fully extended but the dynalock did not keep them in place when in the retracted position. Was pretty disappointed and surprised - high risk of catching the backs of your legs and/or tearing gear when strapped to the back of a pack or when carrying them in the retracted position.

Durable!

Took these on the sea wall trail (meat cove to pleasant bay, Cape Breton) over three and a half days of rugged terrain. They saved my bacon and will be coming on every hike from now on!

Good Poles But Baskets Are Hard To Change

I like these poles. But when I went to change the baskets to use them in the snow, they were very difficult to get on and off. So hard to put on that I apparently didn’t get one of the baskets on securely and lost a basket snowshoeing. Unfortunately MSR does not appear to sell replacement baskets.

Took Them To Mount Whitney

took them to mount whitney to use for the first time and they bent. We were doing the mountaineering route and terrain was intense, but still I was surprised at how poorly they did

Great Poles

Happy with the poles. Thought I could just use ski poles, but I love how these fold down and can slide into a backpack if I want. Also nice to be able to adjust them if someone else wants to borrow them. They are relatively light weight.

Backcountry Poles

I'm very happy with my new poles and was a little surprised for how lite they are.

Super Sturdy And Light Adjustable

super sturdy and light adjustable poles great for ski touring, snow shoeing and walking.

Good Poles For The Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These function just as I expected. Only issue is that the snow tips area not as secure as I would like. The weight of the poles is not too significant for long days in the bush.

Really Well Built Poles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Highly recommend these poles- Solid locking mechanism - Sturdy even when full weight is used pushing binding settings - bought a pair for my wife-great value

Nice Poles Lower Portion Loose When Retracted

When the poles are completely retracted, the bottom section slides in and out of the upper section. Quite irritating when transporting- the ends are catching on everything.

Quality Pines

These are great poles for snowshoeing and I even use them touring

I Would Definitely Purchase Once Again.

The DynaLock poles assisted every step of the way! 43 miles outer loop trail was no match for these poles! Vic

Multiple Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought this item for its hybrid use between winter and summer hiking. The weight is not as light as those carbon trackpoles, but within acceptable range.
