Great boots. Good strong soles with grippy tread. Great for rough landings on rocky shores, and walking across rocks and rough terrain. The excellent support and foot protection comes at a price, of course. These are relatively heavy and somewhat clunky boots; you're not going to be dancing a jig in them. But if you need waterproof protection and really good foot support for eg in and out of boats on rocky shores or hiking rough terrain, these are your boots!

Despite some other reviews, I've had great luck with this boot. I wear these for the majority of my fieldwork in very rugged environments, up and down slopes, through creeks and streams, over rock, mud, and pavements in the Pacific Northwest. My first pair lasted almost 5 years of moderate use. I finally started taking water in through the seams and figure these boots did their fair-share. I'm now onto my second pair. Let's hope they make 'em just as tough as my last pair.

Best Boots I’ve Ever Owned!

These boots are amazing! I’m used to buying boots from the big box stores and they are stiff, uncomfortable, and seem to dry out fairly quickly. My Chore Cool boots are anything but that! These are the first pair of boots I’ve been able to comfortably walk in, even without socks. Always wore long socks to buffer my ankles, but these are comfortable enough to wear barefoot! We have 3 acres and I’d rather wear these than any other of my other shoes…even when the grass is cut and there’s no need!!

Great Boots For What I've Been Using Them For.

So far, I've used them for outdoor walking in the rain, during summer and they're great. The tall hight makes sure water and mud don't splash in. They decently cushion my feet for long walks. Not gonna ruin a marathon in them, but that's not what they were designed for either. They do exactly what I got them for and do it well.
