Rated 5 out of 5 by from Minnesota-Approved Love these boots. Live in MN and just tried them out in the 12+ inches of snow and accompanying sub-zero temps -- paired with a nice wool sock, my feet stayed warm, but most importantly, DRY. Traction is great - went for a walk through slush and snow, and again, warm, dry feet. Love the way these boots hug the calf to keep the warmth in. I am a size 7.5 and ordered an 8 - the fit was awesome - snug to keep in the warmth, but large enough I can shove regular pants inside the top (and I have larger, athletic calves). Definitely recommend for fellow northern climate dwellers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE THESE! I have not tested them in the super cold yet, but, i have been wearing them nonstop since i got them and my feet stay warm, but most importantly they are soooo comfortable!! It feels like I am walking on a spring board, and the shaft is so soft and keeps my calves very warm, which keeps the feet warmer too. I tried several pairs of the muck boots, and these were the most comfortable, the ankle ones also, but these are warmer b/c of the shaft. Order a half size down. Also, I have a little wider calf (not super wide, but not slim) and because the shaft is stretchy, they fit perfectly!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NOT impressd Very slick on icy / snow conditions. They have below average traction. They are NOT warm, my feet get very cold in them. It gets below zero here in Wyoming, they are not rated correctly! Save your money or spend it on Uggs, Columbia boots, Sorels, or something warmer than these. They are fine for slopping around in mud, but not COLD weather at all. I slip all the time in them! May as well be in sneakers! Hate them and won't buy another pair. My husband LOVES his...but has worn this brand for years - I think it's just because he has never worn anything better. I've had $45 boots that are 10x better!! Very disappointed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These boots are great, warm, lightweight, and comfortable! I did my homework before purchasing the boots, and that paid off. The boots are lightweight and the stretch tops fit my larger calves. They go on and off easily without a boot jack, because of that upper stretch. I've been in knee deep snow and ankle deep slush and my feet have stayed warm and dry., in just cotton sport socks.I was originally worried about the correct fit because of some of the other reviews. The fit was true to size, and I wear an even size. For those who wear half sizes, the foot may be a bit large. Muck recommends a boot sock liner that is installed inside the full boot, around the foot liner. That makes sense. Otherwise, I can see half size folks feeling like the boot is too big.All in all, a great boot that I would buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! I did a lot of research before buying the perfect winter boots and am so glad I purchased these boots. I live in Buffalo, NY so I need warm, dry boots for our cold winters. I was torn between Muck and Bogs and I found the Bogs were bulkier, heavy feeling and didn't have as much support. They felt clunky compared to the Muck boots. I normally wear a 7.5, but fit perfectly in a 7. I was also looking for a cruelty free boot and these are perfect! I highly recommend them. They are worth the money!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from How can they be this warm when they are so light and comfortable??? Excellent, may be extreme as I have only wore these a couple times but I am excited! My feet were warm not sweaty. The soles did not slip on the ice like cheap plastic ones do when they get hard. So these must be rubber. I have a bad foot so I bought a size bigger and wear with wool socks and for the size of the boot they are extremely light weight I keep thinking as light as these boots are, how can they be warm? I live in North Dakota on a farm and the men have these and swear by them so I finally tried a pair and wonder why I had not done it earlier, except they are more practical than fashion statement but I really would not care what they look like as long as they are this warm and comfortable. I usually wear heavy winter pack boots, not anymore!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Both practical and comfortable I walk dogs daily at our county dog shelter and I encounter all types of weather. The shelter walking area can be snowy, muddy and have puddles of rain water. I needed a pair of boots that would keep me warm, be water resistant and also have traction. I ordered these boots and they were delivered within 2 days. I tried them out for the first time today at the shelter. They met all my expectations and I will recommend them to my fellow volunteers..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these boots The Arctic Adventure is a great boot. It is warm and comfortable. I wore them in the mountains and had no problems. They have good tread and you can really get around in them. They are lightweight and very cushiony. Very glad I purchased them.
