Rated 5 out of 5 by RW from great boot! Got these for New England winter weather. Was unsure what size to order because of conflicting reviews as to how they run. I wear shoe size 8 so got an 8. A bit big with thinner socks. That said, they don't feel big. Heal stays snug, so boot stays with you when you lift your foot. Very easy to walk in. Great traction. Because of extra room I've worn thick wool socks in extremely cold weather. Feet warm and comfortable. Worth the money!! While looking for boots I tried on other Muck brand styles and a size 8 fit me just right. These run larger. Hope that helps :-)

Rated 3 out of 5 by tanya from not made for extreme cold weather I went moose hunting in Alberta Canada in November and the coldest temps were -24 degrees celcius, which was supposed to be around -5 degrees Farenheit. The boots did not provide the warmth that was advertised at all. My feet froze in the blind that i was hunting. The boots says that it covers to temps of -40 degrees, which could be true if you are constantly moving (walking), but if you are sitting in one spot, these are not your boots in that extreme cold weather. Also, I wear a size 6 1/2 and the size 6 fit me fine. However, if you are going to wear multiple layers of socks like most hunters do, it is best to go up in size instead of down, even tho the boot runs big. The tightness constricted my feet , which also produces no blood flow to the foot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Missmagee from Mixed review but deff worth keeping I normally wear sz 6 in boots with heavy socks, so that's what I got. They are a little long, my heels slip up when I walk (just a little), but I can't go any thicker socks cuz they are narrow. Not narrow wide but narrow high in the foot area. When I'm moving they are fine and warm. Wore them ice fishing all day yesterday in -7° and feet warm all day, but when not moving it feels like someone is standing on top of my feet. So if you're going to be moving a lot they are great, but I don't think I would wear them to sit all day hunting or something. I think the narrow, tight feeling would be too uncomfortable and probably get cold feet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by K8Kirz from Great boots! I bought these for deer hunting. I had previously had problems with my feet getting cold in the stand, even with foot warmers and layers of socks. I researched several brands and types of boots and finally decided on these. I am not disappointed! I wore them all weekend, in the rain and the snow and temps down in the low teens, and my feet were never uncomfortable! I was able to stay in the stand for hours. My feet got a little cold, but I only had on a pair of wool socks and one thin layer of stockings. And that was on the coldest morning after being in the stand for three or four hours. The boots run a little large. I bought a 9, normally wear an 8.5-9, and I can wiggle my toes even with a couple pair of socks. They fit well around the heel and ankles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Toni683 from absolutely awesome I love my new boots. I wear a size 8 so I ordered a size 8. I was nervous about that because a lot of reviews said order smaller or order one size larger. I tried them on with hesitation but to my delight they fit perfectly. I made sure that I put on a pair of socks that I normally wear hunting. I can't wait to go hunting in my new, "lightweight" boots. No more tired legs from wearing heavy boots!!! The delivery was exceptional also. As promised, they were at my door in 3 days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by kelsk from Super comfy! Bought these for the upcoming hunting season in Ohio, wore them to a couple bow shoots to break them in and I didn't even really need to. Fit awesome and really form to your feet. Super comfy. I wear a size 7.5 and got 7's, no heel slip and still have room for a thick sock. Keep my feet nice & dry. Will definitely get another pair!

Rated 4 out of 5 by runmc from Slightly disappointed Ordered these boots on Nov. 29th and didn't get them until Dec. 10th. Slowest shipment ever from Dicks for me (and the item was in stock).Bought these for hunting and couldn't wait to put them to the test! They are comfy and stylish, but did not keep my feet as warm as I hoped. If you're walking around they are fine but fail the test for sitting an extended period in the woods.I'm a size 7.5 and ordered an 8 first. They were way too big (even for layering). I exchanged them for a 7. Much better fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jayne from warmest rubber boots I have ever owned. I have been wearing them hunting every day since they arrived. Hunting in a stand in 28 degree windy conditions and i was able to stay out longer than I ever have. I wear an 8 1/2 so went with a 9 and they are a little big. I bought them mostly for sitting in a stand and use 2 socks to keep them from slipping while walking. Warmth was more important and a little wiggle room helps with that. If I wanted them for mostly walking, I might go for the smaller size.
