Rated 2 out of 5 by from Didn't penetrate I have been bow hunting on and off for over 50 years starting out with a 50lb recurve and moving through several different compound bows over the years. I currently hunt with a crossbow due to a bad shoulder. Over the years I have taken well over a dozen deer and never ever had an arrow not go completely through the deer. Usually stuck in or laying on the ground on the opposite side of the deer. For the past 20 years or so I have used fixed blade broadheads made by the same company that makes these and have been happy with their performance. I switched to these mechanical broadheads when I got the crossbow because a technician at the company said that due to the increased speed fixed blades may have a tendency to plane and be less accurate. Several weeks ago I shot a very large, once in a life time, trophy buck in the chest using this broadhead with my 175lb, 360fps crossbow. I was shooting a lighted arrow/bolt and saw exactly where I hit him. Imagine my dismay when I saw 6 to 8 inches of the fletching end of the arrow sticking out of the deer as he ran off. Will I hunt with these again? Not likely, I'm going back to my fixed blades.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It Worked Not sold on the small set screws. Several of them needed tightened upon opening the package, and made me skeptical of buying something with so many small mechanical parts. I did shoot a deer with one several days after purchasing them. She ran 50 yards and dropped in her tracks. The broad head opened just fine, left a nice size hole, cut right thru the bones and vitals and went out the other side. Not disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Performance Used the 100 grain Spitfire MAXX with my Wicked Ridge G3 Invader to harvest a massive eight point whitetail in Pennsylvania this week. Broad head was placed perfectly with a double lung shot and caused massive hemorrhaging. Deer went approximately 200 yards. Pulled the bolt out of the ground and disassembled and cleaned the broadhead. It still looks new, although I won't shoot it again. Thank you NAP for a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Will buy again!!! These are some of the deadliest broad heads I have ever bought. My girlfriend smoked a buck at 20 yards with a crossbow and the broad heads but through him like butter. The deer went 50 yards and died, leaving a blood-trail that was practically painted on the ground. I will buy again!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not too far Not too far, that's what I say every time I shoot a deer with this broad head, because you know they are not going to go too far! This is the best broad head I have ever used. Super great penetration, great blood trail and great cutting radius. So go and get you some of these broad heads, so you to can enjoy the benefits of not too far!
