Cheap Zippers

After storing my pack for the winter I took it out to start doing my longer run training for an ultra. The zippers on both side pockets were completely seized up so I’m not able to use those pockets. I pulled so hard that the tab came off on one zipper.

Very Comfortable Vest

Trying to get back to consistent running and going longer distances. I previously had another brand’s vest that I only used collapsible water bottles in the front pockets and never used a bladder. Always had comfort issues with it though and overall felt like I could never it to fit comfortably. For this vest though, I have run three 10 mile+ runs and find this one very comfortable. I was easily able to adjust this to fit correctly. I find the bladder easy to use and has been good to use with Tailwind Nutrition as my fuel of choice. I like the available storage as well and enjoy having a space for my phone. There is also so much more storage that I could utilize and have barely scratched the surface of. I did carry sunglasses with me on a run and was nice to have them with me even though I didn’t ultimately use them. Definitely happy with this purchase and look forward to more long runs with it.

Cord Lock Stings Of Pockets Unraveled Easily

Used it for the first time in a trail run and the strings of both cord lock pockets got undone from where they were sewn and could not hold my cell phone and nutrition packs.

Too Bouncy, Rough Materials

This is my first Nathan pack and will likely be my last. Was hoping this would replace my Solomon Adv Skin 5L but it’s a stratosphere away. Materials are less comfortable and it bounces like crazy. Never had any issue with chafing before until this pack, but I think it’s just because the pack moves so much. My advice would be to size down and maybe you could cinch it super tight? I’m not sure but I’m going back to an adv skin.
