The 3rd Generation Is The Best!

Third generation best yet! I have the first two generations and have been very happy with them. The first generation was tight in the shoulders, but they have corrected that issue and have gotten even better with this version. My first one is about 6 years old and I use it nearly every day for a little while to watch my bird feeders.

Whoa, What A Great Piece Of Engineering

I ordered some different rocking chairs last week and tried them. First I preferred one bigger, wider and higher than the Nemo. I thought it would be easier for a tall person to get in/out. Strangely I found myself always using the Nemo b e c a u s e its low …. it makes me feel secure and grounded. Usually I cannot be high enough above the ground. But in the higher chairs (over 50cm) you need a foot/legrest to be comfortable. The Nemo works well without, even though it would be nice to have this option. The only small complain I have is, the fabric starts to wrinkle a bit in your lower back when going in stargazer-position. But all in all its a wonderful well engineered rocking chair with hammockfeel. I‘m immediately at peace when taking a seat in my Nemo. So I just ordered two more as birthday-presents, cause every loved one should experience this feeling.

Butt-hammock

My family affectionately refers to the Stargazer chair as “the butt-hammock” and all other camo chairs in our inventory immediately became second tier (or lower). Setup is a breeze, and we’re easily the most comfortable people in the park, backyard, fireside, you name it!

Great Chair Minor Complaints

Love everything about this chair minus a few grips one is cup holders and other id crinkle in the back when reclined. I'd give it a 4.5 overall and recommend it to everyone with the note of these issues. It's compact light and fits in it's case for car camping you cannot beat it.

An Epic Chair From An Epic Company!

The Stargaze chair is by far the sweetest chair I have sat in. Its effortless reclining makes kicking your feet up around a campfire so ideal! I love the color options, and the construction is top-notch!

You'll Be Seeing Stars

True to NEMO form, this one hits it out of the park. The Stargaze reclining chair is incredibly comfortable and packs small for such a substantial chair. The reclining feature is effortless—just lean back. The adjustable headrest is a nice touch, and the form and function are everything I have come to expect from NEMO products. You'll have to get used to the envious stares of your friends (and enemies) at your kid's soccer game. And expect your chair to be "stolen" by your camping companions around the fire. Cheers NEMO, this one is a winner.

Best Camp Chair On The Market

My wife got me these chairs for a gift. They are the best camp chairs i have ever owned. Incredibly unique, incredibly comfortable, incredibly incredible! They are so great I regularly set them up in my living room when reading or watching tv

Great Chair… But

I love this chair, but I wish they offered a version with metal connection terminals (for the poles) instead of nylon or whatever plastic material they use. I feel like this chair would last forever if the two connection terminals were metal, except for maybe needing to replace the seat portion every few years. I say this because one of the nylon/plastic terminals broke on the first Stargaze chair I owned, which NEMO replaced, but it was disappointing to discover there’s no way to replace these parts. That meant throwing away the entire chair because of one tiny part. If these parts were metal and constructed into two halves (screwed together) it could provide almost indestructible durability, as well as an easy way for users to take apart the connection terminals to self-repair/replace the poles and/or inter-pole bungie cords, and/or the terminals themselves. In addition, I think metal would also provide a huge upgrade to the chair’s stability… because the nylon/plastic connection terminals can begin to loosen/deform over time, making the chair somewhat wobbly.

Great Rocker/recliner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought my chair shortly after they came out several years ago and it is still in great shape. It does slide back a little easier than the newer ones that I have to purchase for my grandkids because they keep stealing mine. It is a great chair to rock/recline in. A bit pricey but made well.
