Not A Wetsuit - No Warmth Provided!

Wish I had read the reviews before I purchased this suit. I dove into 60-degree water in it and the shock of the cold water made it hard to breathe! I see now that the description of the suit does not claim to provide warmth. Somehow I got descriptions confused. This is fine if what you need is a sunblock suit. Fit is pretty good - I am a 5'10" female, wt. 145 lbs, and ordered a Mens Medium size (women's clothing doesn't fit me). I wanted a zip-front suit, and this was the only one I saw. I'll rate it 'good' for fit, 'lousy' for effectiveness! It is misleading to call this a 'wetsuit' and list it with thermal wetsuits. Shame on Clark's!

I dont know about this being a wetsuit, it doesn't work well keeping me warm in the water, but it works great in place of pajamas! Dont think I'll be getting another pair though.

Dick's Has Wrong Info. Not A Wetsuit. 5 Star Product. Great Skin Suit.

I am only writing this review to clear any confusion for others. First of all. This is not a wetsuit. It's not the products fault however. The product itself doesn't claim to be a wetsuit or is advertised as a wetsuit from its manufacturer. Dick's website is at fault for not putting in the correct info. Dick's needs to update the description and remove wetsuit. So if you are looking for a wetsuit and considering this as an option then keep looking because this is NOT a wetsuit. This will not keep you warm. With that said I would like to talk about the actual product now. This is actually a skin suit/ rash guard. It is a really great suit to wear for casual beach activities as well as casual water sports. The material is fantastic and the suit overall is very high quality and made really well. This goes great as a base layer to wear under a real wetsuit and other gear or, once again, you can wear it alone for lighter activities.
