Measure the circumference of the hand across the knuckles and ignoring the thumb or measure the length of the hand from the base of the wrist to the end of the middle finger
Sizing was really nice. Construction was a mixed bag, mostly nice, but see below for details on the palms. Pulled on glove, felt stiff, like a piece of thin cardboard was embedded in the palm of the glove. Took a closer look. Palm pieces are patches of whatever, not pads. Neoprene doesn't extend behind the patches, it ends at the patch seams, and there doesn't seem to be any other padding to the palms / patches. Not likely to prevent blisters, might cause them, and they sure won't absorb shock or vibration, so not really multi-sport. DSG's product web page calls out padding and palm padding, several times. My primary intended use was for kayaking on cool mornings, especially around the shoulder seasons, when my hands sometimes get uncomfortably cool. I don't need a lot of neoprene for this, but I need some, and none in the palm is a non-starter. Also, stiff palm material is blisters waiting to happen during rowing, another non-starter. I'm returning them. OBTW, delivery was a day late.
