New Balance Is Constantly Declining

Fewer and fewer of their models come in all the wide sizes. They were the first to force widths into the market. Now it’s all low quality fashion at best shoes in limited standard sizes. NB is now Old Balance - made for the cheap masses instead of made fir the athletes.

I was looking for a casual, flat sneaker to wear with jeans or shorts and I never owned a pair of New Balance, so I thought I’d give the 480s a try. I was pleasantly surprised! They are very wide in the toe box, even a little bigger than I was expecting. They are a little stiff to start, so a few wears might be needed for the break-in period, but other than that I’m very happy with my purchase!
