Good shoe as I use this primarily for work (hospital), and my 2 year old 574s is at that point where it now needs to be on shift work. These new ones seem to be made out of tougher material, and though it needs a longer break-in time, seem to be much more durable (not that the other one isnt!).

I've been a fan of New Balance 574s for a while, although I haven't actually bought a new pair in quite a while. These are as comfortable as I remember them and remind me why I became a fan of this brand to begin with.

Bought these shoes for my trip to Europe. Wore them several times before my trip but now on day three into the trip and one shoe is causing blisters. Never had this issue with similar pairs in the past. Appears the leather material around the ankle is sitting too high. Buy with caution.
