Changes Feel Of Shoe, Meta Pad Not In Best Location

I was disappointed in this insole, hoping for something with a profile and fit similar to stock NB insoles but with a built-in metatarsal pad. Instead they are like most aftermarket insoles in that they are thicker than the ones you’re replacing and change the dynamics of the shoe. Most notably, they cause significant heel lift. My other problem with these is that I found the metatarsal pad to be too far back and ineffective.

A Must Have Addition For Your New Balance Purchase

I’ve been diagnosed with a plantar plate tear in one of my feet. This product is exceptional for addressing fore foot issues such as plantar plate tears and providing support and relief from associated discomfort. I always replace standard issue insoles with this product and it makes a world of difference.

These are very similar to the expensive, custom insoles I got from my podiatrist. Fairly stiff, nice heel cup, and metatarsal arch support. I've been struggling with plantar fasciitis and think these are a great alternative to custom insoles, thats why im ordering a second pair.
