Live Up To The Hype
I heard great things about the FF BB V2s, and the first reviews of the V3s looked promising. The standouts were how nice the shoes are for impact protection and wide feet (especially since very few other brands even offer a wide width). These shoes have completely delivered on those performance promises, and I like their look and price too. I'm officially a believer and will be waiting for what new colors and models New Balance has in store.

It’s like playing in a cloud! I specifically got them in a bigger size With a full thumb in front of my toe And they still lace up so well, they fit perfectly snug. I am a bigger guard, that plays in an outside court league, and after two hour playing sessions, I still feel no pain. I have played 35 years of basketball, in Ludington at the collegiate level so I have worn a lot of different shoe styles and brands. I can confidently say that these Fresh Foam BB V3s are my favorite shoes EVER. I decided to try the Fresh Foam line after hearing rave reviews by Foot Doctor Zach on YT. Had it not been for him I would have been reluctant to try New Balance for a BB shoe. Wow am I glad I listened to him! Like FDZ says, the cushion is unrivaled. But at the same time it's not too much. I feel bounce but NOT ankle instability. Containment for me is excellent. I have a modestly narrow foot but I am easily able to get great hold on my feet with the sides of the shoes but they still have room for a wider foot than mine as well. Traction is excellent! Breathability is great. They feel like they will be durable but I'm only 3 games into their use. Great job NB.

Old basketball junky, using these for indoor pickleball. Probably the best basketball shoe I've ever seen. I have multiple pairs of the v2, and now one pair of the new v3. The v3 fits just like the 2024 model. That is pretty rare anymore for shoe manufacturers. So rare its why i have so many pairs of the v2. These are seriously very well made shoes, and I very highly recommend them.
