As a big fan of New Balance and their Fresh Foam technology, I had high hopes for the RCVRY Slide. Unfortunately, it runs a bit small—I'm a 42.5 EU, and this felt more like a tight 42. There’s no 43 available, so exchanging wasn’t an option (both colorways were the same). Fit aside, it didn’t deliver the soft, squishy comfort I expect from a recovery slide. The foam felt a bit stiff, not what you'd want after a long day on your feet. I’m not a huge slide person in general, but the only one that truly blew me away was the Skechers Hyperburst Recovery—that one was chef’s kiss. Overall, this was just an okay-ish slide. Not terrible, but not something I’d rave about either.
