These spikes are great for pole vaulting. The layer of Fuel Cell foam cushions well without being overly bouncy, and I feel that my foot is protected by the long-ish spike plate at the takeoff. Normally I would use one pair of spikes for running workouts and another for vaulting; but I intend to use these for both.
