The 880’s have always been my favorite race shoe and still is. I tried the Ellipse and not a fan. The Ellipse seems to be trying to be a cross between the 880 and 1080 and it’s neither it is however a good shoe for walking but not running

Started out great. After wrestling them for 8 hours a day as a teacher for 5, maybe 10 days max, the lower sole feels like it is separating from the insole and making squeaky suction type sounds. The exact reason I move away from Nikes to the more expensive NB and still the same issue. I will be trying to return.
