Rated 4 out of 5 by seenhead from Good But Different from the Freeze 1.0 I just bought these and have practiced with them for a while now. Here are my thoughts. Pros: Much better ankle support than the Freeze 1.0 Sole inserts have changed from the nice cloud-like feel in the Freeze 1.0 to now are textured pattern the massages your feet. I like the freeze 1.0 insoles. Cons: There is no longer a lip to put your finger in to help get them on. It makes it harder to get on your feet. They also run a half size small.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Jcs367 from Definitely like the freeze 1.0 better. There is no loop on the 2.0 back to pull your heel on. The toe also feels smaller than the 1.0. And the 2.0 are more of a cloth like material so I feel like the will get dirtier much quicker, I got white in both pairs. I do like the ankle support and I dont mind the new sole.

Rated 2 out of 5 by GoCougs1994 from New Version Returned for good My son said his normal size was too tight, even purchased a Wide based on reviews. Went up a 1/2 size. He said it felt better, but then realized when running around that it was still too narrow on the forefoot. I had to go on eBay to find the old version, which fit just fine. I hope this gets fixed, New Balance!

Rated 5 out of 5 by ltb786 from Best Lacrosse Cleat You Can Buy These are the best lacrosse cleats out there because of their comfort and functionality. The Freeze cleats are the first cleats that I have used that I can wear for extended periods of time without getting foot pains. I credit this to the foot support that the insole offers, and because of the width options that are available. They have a few improvements over the first edition of Freeze cleats, but those improvements help a lot. One thing that they added to the Freeze 2.0's is a texturing to the insole, and it is advertised to keep your foot from sliding around, and it does just that. Also, they added more padding in the heel for comfort which I am a fan of. The Freeze 2.0's have an updated look, and seem to be more durable than the first edition (Which were already very durable). The only problem I have with them is that sizing is different in the Freeze 2.0's than in the first edition of the Freeze cleat, so I had to go down half a size with them. Over all, the Freeze 2.0's are a solid improvement over the already great first edition Freeze cleats.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Bo34 from Very solid cleat! Full disclosure: I actually use these for flag football, not lacrosse. I play receiver so when buying cleats I needed some that kept grip on hard cuts. I bought these cleats about a month and a half ago and have been using them since. I've played with them in snow, rain and dry conditions so I feel like I've gotten good experience with them aside from being on turf. Pros: light, good-looking and true to fit. Great performance in ideal and sloppy field conditions. I don't feel like I've ever lost footing because of the shoes in wet conditions, so they're pretty ideal for cutting on soft fields that are well maintained. At first I thought the side cleats might scrape up my calves, but it hasn't been an issue. Grass and mud don't really collect on the bottom of the shoes either. Cons: Only two minor things, when the field has been dry and the soil is cracking I've lost grip. The actual cleat pattern on the bottom of the shoe is narrower than most by a half inch or so and when the ground is hard the spikes on the side don't help much to prevent slipping. Another minor thing is that I've noticed my shin splints flaring up after wearing them for the last couple months. Overall great shoes. They don't have the loop on the back of them, as many have mentioned, but I've had no issue getting them on and off, I don't know why people are complaining. I chose these because they are slightly wider than brands like Nike and the feel similar to Warrior Burn shoes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by OMNi2 from Comfortable and performance I bought 2 pairs for my twins. They've had quite a few other pairs of cleats and they love these. They said they are comfortable (first words when they came home from practice) and they love how the outside cleat "grips" the turf to prevent sliding as much. A bit more than I wanted to pay but worth it if they like they are happy with them overall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Another Lax Mom from They work great My son is a midi and loves these shoes. He says that he can stop quicker and turn on a dime. Plus they are comfortable for all the running he does.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Maryellen B from Cleats are fantastic, but run VERY small These cleats are great, daughter loves them for club lax. However be aware on sizing. She is a size 9 women's ordered a 7.5 since these are mens, heeding 1.5 conversion, couldn't even get her foot in. You need to order a full size up, very irritating when you ordered by mail and need them in a timely fashion. Trust me and order up!
