This is our third pair of freeze cleats for my son - he plays high school lacrosse. He really likes them. We do buy our own inserts to add (Super feet brand) as the ones the come with the shoe are pretty thin and useless. Does seems to be some differences in version quality. V3 lasted two seasons. V4 only lasted one. Hopefully V5 is a good one. Despite that, still recommend.

New Balance Cleats Are Built To Last, But Do Run Narrow

Third pair of Freeze in a row for my son as he outgrows them before he can fully wear down the cleats. New Balance dominates lax cleats, my daughter wears the same pair and so do the majority of their teammates. One thing is they do run narrow and my son complains they are tight on the sides.

Not Good. Bring Back The V4

These are impossible to break in. I had the v4 which lasted 1 year. Needed a replacement but couldn’t gey the v4 in my size, so went with the v5. After 6 months these are still painful and stiff, compared to the v4, which broken within two wears.
