Excellent Shoe, But A Couple Of Drawbacks
Overall this is a very nice shoe - one of the most comfortable I’ve ever owned. That said there are a couple of big downsides as well - very expensive at full retail, and also not a very durable sole, so that will go rather quickly. Makes it hard to swallow the price, but I’ve now owned three pair.

Noisy Shoe
I’ve owned numerous New Balance shoes and this is the first pair that have disappointed me. After a couple of weeks the shoes started making this sound that occurs as I push off into my next step. Best described as sort of a popping sound. The shoes are comfortable and when I’m walking outdoors the noise isn’t readily apparent….but walking indoors it drives me crazy.

A Vey Comfy & Cushy Running Shoe
I've worn Brooks Glycerin for years but didn't like the new model. I got a few different shoes and these are the ones I kept. I like max cushion and these deliver. The heel strike is especially soft. And I like that, for a max cushion shoe, they don't look so orthopedic ;) I did go a half-size higher than usual.
