I own two pairs of 1080s because they provided stability and were gentle on my joints. With the blind race to thicken the cushion at the bottom, the shoe companies are forgetting the pain it caused to an average user. It is a very disappointing trend and was not expected from NB

Verdict is still out. Bought these a month ago to alternate with my other running shoes. Comfortable and soft , It feels that the heel is lower than the toe and almost as if it pulls my weight back instead of pushing or leaning my body forward. So I did not fall in love the first few runs, which I rarely do, and need more time to determine whether I like running in them or not.

I ordered these in an 11.5 Wide which is my normal size. New Balance are usually really good about having wide toe boxes but thse feel a little tight still. I have not fully broken them in yet so they me stretch more with time. The cushion is great through.
