Shoes are comfortable, but require adjustment period. It will take a while to get use to them and I noticed different muscles were required for stabilization. 4 stars because reviews are always requested too soon. I have had issues with durability of other New Balances recently and the jury is still out on how long these will last.

I've been wearing 990s for several years and decided to switch because every pair of 990s I bought over the years developed a wear hole on the inside of the left foot near the "toe knuckle". The Fresh Foam ones I bought instead take awhile to get used to. They feel like you're walking on water balloons and the heel is curved upward. So, the stability I was used to is basically gone. The new ones are very comfortable but I'm not sure how well they'll work out over the long term.
