Soft Shoe With Some Bounce
I have worn 1080s in previous models. These have a much higher stack than say the v11 or v12. I liked the v11 especially but due to my size 6'3" and 230lbs they wore out quickly. This shoe may be a bit more robust. The shoe initially had some roll or spring to it which seems to have been reduced after about 10 miles

Defective Pair Of 1080's
I have 10+ pairs of New Balance. I also have the previous versions of these shoes. I keep my shoes squeaky clean at all times. This is the first pair that I've had only a month or so..first wash, all of the symbols came off of the shoes. The nice 1080 on the back of the shoes came off along with the "N" on the side. I'm so frustrated with this purchase. Maybe I had a defective pair. I've never had or seen this happen. I'm hoping New Balance will replace the shoes with a solid pair. I have pictures if they allow me to share them...
