No Longer The Same Shoe As Prior Versions
Been wearing 880s for many years thru many prior versions of this shoe, unfortunately the significant changes to this version 15 make it no longer the same shoe. These were painful after wearing a short time. Also the sole is a lot thinner and poorly made. After just 10 days the wear of the sole looked the same as my last pair of version 14 that are 6 months old! The fit is no where close to the same as before and very uncomfortable with a significant rocker like motion that feels more like a marching band shoe than an athletic shoe. The stack height of this version is double prior versions and the drop height has changed. It's a shame to see New Balance destroy a long term quality shoe like this but I do not recommend these to anyone who has appreciated prior versions.
