Zero Stability - Like Walking In High Heels

They are like running in high heels. I wouldn’t mind that but zero ankle / side to side stability. You do anything but run straight on a flat surface and you WILL 100% twist your ankle. Ridiculous redesign including they removed the waterproofing and reduced the toe protection. I loved the previous version but this new complete redesign was a disaster. Cushy And Stable...but Durable?

This is my fifth or sixth pair of this model of shoe, but the first since the design moved to a slightly more cushy shoe (hah, similar to some of the competition). Despite concern, this does not feel any less stable (fear of running in high heels) on roots and rocks, and there is certainly more comfort underneath the foot. Concerns regarding durability are at the top of my list, but only time will tell. Overall, it seems good, comfortable, sufficiently roomy and stable, but not sure about how durable this iteration will be.
