Purchased a 4E and it’s too tight, compared to the more 6

Comfortable, grippy on rough terrain and rocks, drain well post stream crossing. This may be an individual anatomical thing, but I find the toe box is a bit shallow. The tops of my small toes rub on the top of the shoe. The upper is stretchy and the issue improved in a few wears, but this was a strange fit issue I haven't had in previous versions. This is my personal 4th version the Hierro, I find this version to have more cushion and better traction than previous iterations so it was worth the short break in period for me!

I loved this shoe the first day I tried them out. I was looking for a shoe to do mostly light walking with my dog and some light 1-2 hour mountain hikes. After only a couple months I noticed the support collapsing. I don't pronate but within a very short time, the shoe collapsed and I was slanting in, pronating very significantly. I couldn't use them any more. Garbage in such a short time. Sad, because I really liked them at first. I've never had this happen before.

fits true to new balance sizing for sure. great stability, which is impressive considering they have so much cushion and comfort too.

Nice cushion and feel underfoot for running, good grip and stable, a little uncomfortable for walking with a rocking midsole. Overall a solid shoe

Amazing for everything from the trail to the streets, amazing grip and quality! Only thing I don't love is the tongue as it is a bit uncomfortable on one foot.
They look so elegant and are so comfortable. Excellent grip.

Amazing feel. It’s like walking on clouds. Use them for walking, running, and gym. Not the best for weightlifting due to the uneven bottom but overall great shoe

I really wanted to like these. They fit great; the tongue is soft and the extra cushion soaks up everything on the trail. The grip is great over rocks and roots, but... both feet roll inward really badly, even with supportive insoles. Just these shoes too, out of maybe a dozen pairs I've owned. A couple runs in these and I was done: knee pain out of nowhere! As I looked down at my feet, I could tell the front part of the shoe was rolling in with every step. Darn. Maybe a wider toe box or foam that's a little stiffer would help. Everything else about these was great.

I initially really liked this shoe, however, after about 150km and hand washing and hang drying a few times, the shoe has shrunk significantly to where I can’t wear them anymore. Not even for walking. Very disappointed

I've purchased other New Balance models in the past including the Fresh Foam Garo model. However, they discontinued the Fresh Foam Garo so I spent quite a bit of time finding a replacement. As luck would have it, I found something that was quite similar but much more expensive. I was willing to overlook the price to find something with similar comfort.
