Excellent Shoe, But …
Before reviewing this shoe I should say that I am a 66 year old male who stands 6’3” and weighs 210 pounds as it does pertain to the review. I should also mention that I have run in every iteration of the More since its introduction and, prior to that, I ran in the NB 1080. Given my size and age, i need a heavily cushioned shoe to protect my feet and knees. The More has always worked better for me in this regard than the 1080. In my experience, every iteration of the More has been an improvement on the previous version and this shoe is no different. The tweaks are subtle, but meaningful, and the fit and ride are very good. The only thing that keeps me from awarding it five stars is something I’ve experienced with every “Fresh Foam” shoe I’ve ever worn - the foam takes a permanent set (loses its “bounce”) very quickly and then they no longer work for me. I don’t run a lot but, as mentioned, I’m pretty big and after only about 150 miles my feet and knees begin to ache again as the shoes lose their cushion. As I said, this has been the case with every Fresh Foam shoe I’ve ever owned. I’m sure my weight and age enter into it and others may get more mileage out of them, but this has been my experience. I really like the shoes. When new, they are super so, to ensure I don’t have any problems, I replace them every six months and rotate the old pair to “casual wear”. This is a touch pricey, but better than being injured. If NB ever solves what I perceive as a “compression problem”, I will be eternally grateful.

Squishy Shoes Yet Supportive
