Having been a long time, Brooks shoe enthusiast, I decided to move to this model because of toe splay. All I want is cushion and toe isplay. Recommended that I actually go with a 13 wide. In Brooks, the toe box was never wide enough. So, I would buy 14s. A 13 wide in this NB model has been great thus far.

I liked the V5 for several years. Was hoping the V6 would feel similar but maybe too much cushion for me as I feel like I was running on top of marshmallows and couldn’t get a good feel for my foot to the road. I run 3 days a week between 25-30 miles. Was looking for the daily workhorse shoe with comfort. Quality was good, just not fitting me the same as the V5.

Parkinson’s Stability Is Threatened.

I have Parkinson’s and the sole of this shoe is not good for me. I tend to roll on to my ankles because the higher, more padded shoe feels great if you land on it but the foam crushes over if you land off-centered.

Didn’t Work For Me

I just got these shoes yesterday. I purchased them because they are touted by so many as the most comfortable shoe in the world. I have had back surgery that left me with severe neuropathy in my feet. I have to have a good max cushion shoe to even be able to walk or stand for any length of time. I decided to try a pair of More V6’s since they are so highly praised. When I first put them on they felt ok. I could certainly feel the pillowy cushioning they are so famous for. However after walking a couple of miles in them I could see very quickly they weren’t going to work for me. My foot felt as though it was pointing toes up and heels back… and I felt as though I was walking in quick sand, and it put pressure on my feet legs and hips. The worst pain occurred in my hips. The next morning I put them on again thinking maybe the pain was just a coincidence and not related to the shoes….but after just walking around the house, the pain flared up immediately. I took the shoes off and put on my tried and true Brooks Ghost Max 2’s. The severe pain immediately subsided, but there was still a lingering ache in my hips. I had to take some pain med. I wanted these shoes to work so bad. Very disappointed they are unwearable for me. I am sure it is just my peculiar back issues, and not something that would effect everyone… as most review on these shoes are outstanding. I wish they would have worked for me🙁
