Runs Smaller Than Previous Edition--too Tight!
I have worn New Balance 2E shoes for tennis and picklenball for years. Always a reliable fit for my wider feet. I got these because I loved the previous edition (996v5) which felt as if custom made for my feet. This v6 version definitely runs small, most notably in width but maybe in length. I bought longer laces to try and lace them up in a wider setting but still too tight. I would recommend going to wider with than you usually do with these but ufortunately they do no not make a 4E in this style. So, I can't recommend this shoe.

Not Wide Enough
Had to return the shoe. Needed a 4E. Toe box was fine but the instep too narrow. The available extra wide style was too heavy and bulky for Pickleball

Tight Fit Of 2e.
They are a little narrow, I am surprised, i have selected NB (4 many years) because of the wide width comfortable fit. The 2E is a bit tight across the instep.
