Better Than The 1080’s

I bought these shoes few weeks ago and I’ve had several pairs of the Previous version NB Rebel V4 and they made them just as comfortable if not more. We will see how the foam lasts compared to the V4 which did not last that long.

Bad Sizing

The team at new balance made the width of this shoe narrower than the Supercomp Elite, despite being the same size and range, and the shoes looking completely identical to each other on the outside. Easily the worst fitting shoe new balance has produced - yeah, I know, “get the wide”, but the length is also shorter (both US9.5). Weak.

Love It!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the shoes. V4 felt amazing already, but I love this version even more

Comfortable

Comfortable and very breathable. You can even see light coming through the front of the shoe. Great soft cushion similar to More V5 which is slightly more stable mainly because it's twice the size of the Rebel which is normal size. I usually wear 10 Wide in Hoka but I wear 10 1/2 Wide in New Balance. Fits well. Keep in mind that I like a little extra room. I still haven't found better cushion than my NB Super Comp Trainer V1.

Great For My Knees

My runs are 5-6 miles long, so I can't speak for longer distances, but I love these shoes. I run three times a week and I've put about 100 miles on them. About a year ago I graduated from physical therapy for one of my arthritic knees. I was a little worried at first that the cushion on these shoes might not be a stable enough of a platform to run on, but it has not been an issue. They're terrific. Thanks NB for making the wide fit variants.
