First Time Trying

For the past eight years, I have been running in Brooks ghost series. I wanted to try something new because I didn’t like where they were going with their latest models. The associate at Dick‘s suggested new balance, and so far after about a month of use I really like them. The support and comfort is really good.

Great Everyday Trainer

I have already run aprox. After 50 miles, this shoe is very comparable to one of my favorites, the Asics Novablast. Offers great cushion for long runs and the right amount of rebound to do some tempo workouts. I will be using this shoe to run Ironman Chattanooga 2025.

High Comfort, Low Cost

In a world where running shoes are $200+, the rebel v5 is a steal at $140. Looks great, feels great. Highly recommend

Mushier Than Before

I had nine pairs of version one and they were amazing. Two pairs of version three. This last version is OK, but it’s very mushy and more like a trainer, which is not what I was looking for with this shoe. Also, I find them to fit large compared to previous rebels. But regular sizing comparatively to other new balance shoes. I would have ordered half a size smaller had I known. A very nice shoe, but I miss the old one. A better name would be “fuel cell rebel trainer.”
