I Thought The Rebel Couldn’t Get Any Better.

Wow. Just wow. For this past track season, I purchased the MD-X’s for my main event, the 800, and absolutely loved them. I continued on to buy the Rebel v4, because I had heard good things and was starting to think, “Hey, maybe I’ve been sleeping on NB.” They were the best shoe I had ever worn and didn’t think it could get better than that. Look, when I saw NB removed the neon green and yellow color way, I was ready to throw hands. But, as an avid runner and guy with a moderately big brain, I have found it in my heart to forgive them. On a slightly less important note, I can confirm that the Rebel v5 sitting upon my feet are the single greatest shoe to ever grace the planet. They now offer more arch support, a heel/upper more similar to the SC Trainer (while retaining the FantomFit), and a one size fits all toe box. This is the A5 Wagyu of the running world and makes all other shoes seem like stale mushrooms.

What Are Those!?!

True to fit. I’ve run about 50 miles in these, only getting better with every step. The color and design are show stoppers, people can’t get enough. Running backroads in the early, pre-sun time frame, allows for me to really stand out with the reflectors and bright ‘Urgent Red’ color scheme. These are daily runner, fast-paced runs, I’ve maxed out by mile 8 ish, could really feel the difference. I’d stick with these for those shorter runs.
