I’m not a fast runner. My 5K has always hovered right around 30:00 flat. I got this shoe and ran the same route I always ran, on an exceptionally hot day where I forgot to take my inhaler. My time was 27 minutes. These shows helped me beat my best time and then some and I didn’t feel like I had to push everything I had in me to do it. I was always wary of purchasing played shoes as I figured I was too slow to see any kind of benefit, but not with these. The benefit was there and it was real and it felt great. 10/10 would recommend and have already contemplated buying a backup pair. I’m just hopeful that they have some longevity to them.

Comfortable Shoe But Not Durable

The new balance Fuel Cell Super Comp Elite V4 are comfortable shoes to run in, but not durable. I was training for a marathon and thought that those would be my race day shoes. After a few practice runs the sole of the shoe started to come apart. I was in the middle my long run miles away from my car when I noticed the damage. I was unable to continue my run due to the fear of tripping and causing injury. I had the shoes less than 30 days and only ran in them about 4 times before having this issue occur.
