Soft And Bouncy Cruiser That Makes Me Faster

Purchased for Fall '25 Marathon season for 4 hour race. Have put 25 miles on them so far with 2 easy slow runs and one run at tempo pace and the midsole comfort is excellent for my midfoot strike. These definitely feel best when at least at my 5 out of 10 effort, rather than really easy and slow. Found my pacing was about 15-20 secs faster than expected at the same effort I'm used to in non plated shoes. My only issue is that I have long narrow feet and I have had to purchase some think socks for these, and spend more time on these shoes cinching down to get a secure fit than any other shoe I've worn. Of my 3 runs so far, I've had to stop 2 times to re-tie the shoes tighter, using the runners loop, but I think I've figured it out. After buying the SC Trainer V3's and returning them because I couldn't get a secure lock down, these are slightly narrower, but I believe these uppers are best for medium width feet and wider. Looking forward to racing in these though.

Having run mostly in max cushion products to reduce the pain points of road running, the world of running shoes has been limited. The Supercomp’s energy return is real. The carbon plate introduced me to a more challenging and rewarding run. While I still enjoy max cushioning, it is fun to step into a shoe that pushes my limits. Serious runners will enjoy the shoe even more than me. For those who want to push their pace and distance, this model is a friend. For those who tend to flag over time, the shoes becomes a bit of a stiffer run— it rewards effort and pace.
