  • Years of research went into perfecting the SuperComp Elite containing a FuelCell midsole made with 100% PEBA foam
  • Energy Arc pairs sport-specific carbon fiber plate geometry with strategic midsole voids, designed to increase stored energy to deliver a higher amount of total energy returned
  • A fine-tuned carbon fiber plate offers increased stiffness in the forefoot for a feeling of propulsion from one stride to the next

Durability & Traction:

  • Coming in at approximately 1.7mm thick, a new outsole material is designed for superior traction

I’ve put a few runs into the FuelCell SuperComp Elite v5 and it feels like a proper race-day shoe that’s still comfortable enough for longer efforts. The ride is soft but bouncy, with a smooth roll through toe-off that makes it easy to hold pace without feeling beaten up. What I liked Very lively midsole — good pop when you push the pace Smooth transitions (especially at tempo / half-marathon effort) Surprisingly stable for a super shoe Upper feels secure and doesn’t get sloppy when you turn corners What could be better The forefoot fit is a touch snug (wide-foot runners may want to size carefully) Grip is fine, but I wouldn’t pick it for wet, slick paths Premium feel, but durability looks “race shoe” level, not daily-trainer level Best for: tempo sessions, long race-pace runs, and race day (10K to marathon).
