Racing Shoe, Yes. Everyday Running, No.
I got these shoes with the intention of running the occasional "speed" run. The type of runs where you test yourself, and try to beat your best time. And when I first wore them for that purpose, yes they performed well. However, when I was done my feet when killing me. First thing I noticed as I began to pick up speed is that my stride had to change. I usually take short strides for my runs, but with these on continuing doing so made my feet hurt (it was not a major discomfort, but definitely noticeable). When I began to adjust my stride the discomfort did subside. Hence, the faster run time. The way I could best describe these shoes would be to use a car analogy. If you want everyday comfortable runs, this is not the shoe to do them in. The super comp trainer would be a Ferrari. Good for speed and racing, but some what uncomfortable. Yes, you do get that extra propulsion from the shoe, but that does come with a downside. p.s.-I got these in a wide fit size, but still got some discomfort.

Fit Not In Line With Other Nb Runners
Bought the same size as my other New Balance runners, but these did not fit and hurt my toes when out for a run. Disappointing.
