I am a bit of a beginner and was looking for a versatile cleat for a decent price. I tried on a few sizes and went with 9 men's (usually 8.5 or sometimes 9 in street shoes). Loved these at first, but after some 80 minute training/scrimmages on artificial grass (high school football field style) I noticed just how narrow the base is. Around the balls of my feet feel very cramped while I notice my ankles wanting to roll inward. This could also be due to poor conditioning, but I can feel where a wider base would provide more support especially for beginners. Enjoyed them at first but quickly found myself looking for something more comfortable.

Why would you sell a 2e that is less wide than most other brands regular boots? I've worn many soccer cleats in my time and I wanted one that had a little bit more forefoot space, thinking that New balance is 2es would actually do that. Ironically, I found the fit and comfort was much worse than off the shelf Nikes or Adidases that are normally sized. Support was also very unhelpful in explaining what cleats were actually wide and referred me to the size guide which only has length, which was not the issue. The guy obviously did not care. Super unimpressed the cleat and the company.

Bought this shoe because of my wide feet. Unfortunately wide wasn't wide enough for my foot. Design at the heel causes blisters. Best shoe laces ever.

I bought these shoes for my son and he loves them. Which is great because he's so picky
