One of the narrow shoe ever. Size is not true to what it says. It runs small

These shoes not only fit great with awesome support, but the sole seems to be lasting better than any other pickleball/tennis shoe I’ve tried. I play several times a week and go thru shoes quickly because the sole always wears too quickly. I haven’t had these super long yet, but they are showing no wear at this point! LOVE THEM!!

I have bought this shoe multiple times. Im so disappointed it is being discontinued. It is so hard to find a wide court shoe that is this comfortable.

I actually do not play pickleball. I am a long time tennis player and a long time fan of the FuelCell 996. This shoe has served me well for many years. Unfortunately in the last couple of versions the wide has gotten narrower and narrower. I thought I would try the 796 Pickleball since it was available in extra wide. I've only played a few hours in the shoe, and so far they are comfortable and appear satisfactory for use on the tennis court.

My first pickleball shoe was the tennis fuel cell in a wide and I loved them but my next pair of the same the wide got narrower and couldn’t were them. Switched to the foam in an extra wide which I could wear without pain but they were heavy and felt like bricks on my feet. Was so excited to see this shoe in an extra wide. They fall somewhere in between. Definitely not a true extra wide so you’ll be fine if you typically wear a wide. Lighter than the foam shoe but material has a cheaper, stiffer feel. Hoping they loosen up a bit. I’m really a 5 but got 5.5, may try 6 if I ever order again. Happy to see New Balance making a pickleball specific shoe and hope they expand their extra wide options.
My feet hurt most of the time (in all shoes) due to neuromas in both feet. In spite of that I play 3-5 hours of pickleball everyday. I usually can only tolerate a running shoe that is very cushy (but not a great court shoe). I even broke my toe playing because of how soft the running shoe is. This New Balance shoe is the first court shoe I been able to tolerate with minimal pain. It is very comfortable and stable. It also has great traction as the first time I wore this shoe, the court was wet.

It was so nice to finally find a woman's shoe size that offered xtra wide. I finally have an athletic sneaker that doesn't hurt my feet.

Have only worn them once but nice and lightweight, comfortable. Got the 2E and if they would have had wider probably would have opted for that but all in all so far so good

Too narrow! The Wides are not wide. These are nothing like my last pair.

Excellent quality shoes at a very reasonable price. Great stability and support. Nice to have a specific pickleball shoe. Just wish they came in x-wide width. Rated comfort a 4 only for that reason. They are a bit narrow for me.

These shoes fit small in both length & width. I have other types of New Balance shoes that fit my true size of 8D. I had to go up to 9D in these PB shoes.

Comfortable shoe. I was having issues with my old shoes and my toe nails hitting the top of the shoe. Decided to a half size up with these shoes and it solved the issue. Very comfortable and very little break in time.
