Good But Could Be Better
Good shoe but it could be better. The top of the shoe is very stiff with little cushion. Therefore, it bruises the top of my foot. This is specifically, in the area where you tie your shoelaces.

Very Disappointed
I have been wearing this model since available. The quality is not up to the standards I have been accustomed to with NB. The shoe tongue is much narrower with considerable less cushioning and causes discomfort when laced. Also found problems with the left shoe, upper not sewn correctly and the shoe is longer and not as wide. When compared to an older model of the 990 shoe, the 990v6 is inferior. I use to buy 2 pairs of the 990 shoe at a time. Hopefully these issues can be fixed.

Very Comfortable But Could Be More Stylish
U bought these shoes in both black and grey and will be buying the navy color. They have a wide toe box, come in D width, and have a lot of cushioning. However they are not as good looking as my old 940s.

Excellent Replacement For Nb940.
This shoe is an excellent replacement for my 940's, which are no longer made. I needed to go to an xwide from a wide because the toe box on the 990 wasn't quite as roomy as the 940. That made the 990 a little too roomy in the heel, but my orthotics help with that.
