Disappointed After 1 Day Of Wear
Although I love the 880 version I am currently wearing (and appreciate that these new ones make walking feel effortless), this shoe made my heels feel numb the first time I wore them, to the point that I had to return them. Better arch support would make this shoe much more effective for relief of sole, arch, knee and posture discomfort.

these are not the most comfortable New Balance show I've worn. I thought they would be because they are wider in the toe area, and my Dr. recommended them, but I do not like them.

Great For Hallux Limitus...
I purchased this shoe based on a recommendation from someone that it helps with Hallux Limitus (great toe arthritis). From years of running, I am now dealing with the aftermath. I have tried many running shoes for my problem, and have had some degree of success, but THIS shoe is the BEST! Wide toe box to start, and the shoe has a rocker effect. I feel like I am sitting back on my heels somewhat, which leads to that rocker effect and less great toe bend. I can actually wear these without my orthotic inserts and have zero great toe pain. I hope NB never discontinues this version. My normal size of 9 is a perfect fit.

Good Everyday Shoe
I get New Balance every time for my wide feet, and even then some are a miss due to the material or shape. This one is a hit with my bunions. I have put it through the ultimate test of walking around Japan. Easily over 10k steps a day and these have kept me up. They look great, they are lightweight despite the thickness of the sole, I highly recommend.
