My husband has been a big fan of Hierro for some time now. He does a lot of trail running and has tried all the shoes on the market, but Hierro comes up tops. I've never spent so much on shoes, so I was a little hesitant, but can honestly say, this is the best shoes I've ever had. My first time wearing it was a 16km Table Mountain national park hike with a lot of elevation and it felt like I was walking on clouds. I've even started running again as my knees and hips no longer hurt. The cost of the shoes, make up for the costs of knee and hip problems in the long run!

Wobbly; Rolled Ankles Aplenty

Purchased these for hiking- I own several pairs of 880s so assumed they’d be similar. The soles are so squishy/ cushy it makes it hard to balance doing simple tasks like walking down a flight of stairs (I’m in my 20s and have literally never struggled with that task). Worn for less than 30 minutes and rolled my ankle several times. I normally buy shoes that are more geared towards stability so it’s definitely my bad; but if you tend to roll your ankles or have hypermobility these are not for you!
