Great For Walking-not For Running
These shoes are cushy and pillowy while walking around so I was so excited to run in them. However, 4-5 miles in, the bottom of my feet were burning. I tried a few more runs and it kept happening. Disappointing. Ever since NB changed the Fuel Cell Super comp Trainer, I haven’t been able to find a long distance trainer I like. The Fuel Cell Super Comp Trainer from 2024 was the best. Bring it back.

Perfect Mix Of Cushion And Responsiveness

I have the 1080’s also and find them very comfortable but they absorb all of the effort when I run in them and so easy runs almost feel harder. The More fixes that! These have a great balance and I can see how they are great as easy day recovery shoes or even high mileage go-to’s for runners who like a cushy ride.

Flexible Yet Firm. Just The Right Ride.

The ground where I run can be pretty uneven and the support of these shoes helped me navigate difficult terrain. As an athlete, I really loved these shoes and felt like they were a great fit to train for my most-recent 5k race. They’re ideal for both longer and easier runs. Shoes that strike the right balance between firm/support and cushioned/soft are rare. These shoes cracked the code for sure.

Very Cushioned Daily Trainer

You cannot really feel the surface below you when running. Great quality product for easy runs. Perfect daily trainer if you like a lot of cushion!
