Too Tight Across Widest Part Of Foot

New design Ladies Fuel Cell too tight across widest part of foot. I loved my old fuel-cell Pickleball shoes, so I re-ordered the newer version. They added some new stabilizing material across the widest part of the foot, but it causes pain in that area of my foot. I prefer the original design, which has no added support there.

Good Stability

It has good stability when running across the court. This is important to me because of an old ankle injury. I did feel like the shoes were a little heavy and clunky. It’s definitely more focused on stability rather than speed.

Great Ankle Support

Shoes are comfortable and provide good grip and stability on the court. Also, I was impressed that I didn't really have the break the shoes in, they felt good the first day i used them.

I would recommend these shoes to anyone playing tennis or pickleball!

Comfortable But Runs Narrow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been playing in New Balance tennis shoes for a while, so I was curious to see how the FuelCell 796v5 would compare for pickleball. Overall, this is a solid, well-built shoe. The cushioning feels comfortable right out of the box, and the heel and ankle area are especially well-padded and secure. I felt supported during quick movements, particularly when moving forward and stopping. That said, the fit runs a bit narrower than I’d prefer. The biggest issue for me is the reinforced plastic on the inner side of the shoe. I understand it’s there for durability during lateral slides, but combined with the narrower fit, it presses into my forefoot and becomes uncomfortable over time. It also makes lateral movement feel slightly restricted compared to vertical movement. If you have a narrower foot, this likely won’t be an issue, and you’ll probably appreciate the added structure and durability. But if you prefer a roomier toe box or are used to the wider feel of New Balance tennis shoes, you may notice the difference. Overall: a comfortable and supportive shoe with good durability features, but I personally wish it had a bit more width in the forefoot.

Floating On Clouds

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was too excited to wear these to play pickle ball. They do more than look like clouds because they literally are! They are so light weight and comfortable on my feet. I couldn’t ask for a more flexible shoe. My favorite thing is they can be worn on and off the court to giving you the perfect range of versatility.

Wouldn't Have Chosen But Happy To Own

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ngl, straight out of the box the clinical white gave major soccer mom or 10-year-old baseball kid energy. But on I was pleasantly suprised. they're wildly comfortable & and a flattering silhouette, at least for someone who likes a corny norm core white sneak. It's not a flat look it's got a chuck to it which is courtesy of its function. the white is quite clinical but they're a nice go-to for errands and i look forward to them to get beat up into a dingy grey (A little dirt and time will do these a huge favor aesthetically imo). I don't pickleball. everyone hates me on the community tennis courts but i'll say this show does make me want to get involved with that regardless

Great Comfort For A Pickleball Shoe

As someone on their feet all day, these were comfortable enough that I didn't have any pain in my back or feet all day. Will absolutely continue wearing both on and off the courts.

Fun And Comfortable!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wore for both tennis matches and clinics. More cushioned and comfortable than many other tennis and pickleball shoes, which can be stiff and heavy. Didn’t jam my toes up when I sprinted with hard stops to retrieve balls, but still felt stable enough to support explosive movements. Colorway could be a bit more exciting, but the shoes match a wide variety of clothes and dress codes for club players.
