Great In Comfort But Very Low Durability

I’ve been running for over 15 years and decided to try the New Balance FuelCell Rebel V5 for the first time. The shoes felt amazing right out of the box — lightweight, responsive, and very comfortable for daily runs. Unfortunately, the durability was a big letdown. After only about 190 km, the outsole was noticeably worn with almost no grip left, and the upper started tearing. It’s disappointing because the performance and comfort are excellent, but the build quality doesn’t seem to match. I tried to reach out to NB, sent them a couple of pictures but the response I got was that this was expected given the described usage. If New Balance could improve the durability, this would easily be one of the best running shoes on the market.
